In each match, 5 survivors try to complete objectives (such as repairing engines/generators) and escape, while 1 player becomes the Killer whose goal is to hunt survivors and escape, while 1 player becomes the Killer whose goal is to hunt survivors and prevent escape.
Players use items, perks, and map features (pallets, vaults, hiding spots) to survive or to catch survivors.
How To Play Violence District
Controls & Key Game Mechanics
Repairing generators: survivors interact with gens; some skill-check mini games may appear. Good timing helps.
Pallets & vaults: survivors can drop pallets to stun the killer temporarily; vaulting allows passing through windows etc. These are crucial for evading during chase.
Items & Perks: both survivors and killers can unlock and equip perks and items. Survivors choose one item per match (e.g. flashlight, motion tracker, etc.).
Cooldowns and timing for both killers vs survivors are very important (e.g. killer's special ability cooldown; when to use pallets; when to help teammates vs hide).
🔍 Roles & Objective
1. Survivors
Cooperate with your team to repair generators/engines. Usually there are 6 gens; you might need to activate a certain number to power up exit or escape.
Avoid the Killer: hide, vault through windows, use pallets to slow or stun the Killer. Pallets are limited. Use them wisely.
You can revive teammates, possibly hide while injured, use items and perks you’ve unlocked.
2. Killer
Hunt down survivors, prevent them from finishing their repairs. Use your special abilities. Each Killer has different perks and skills.
Use map knowledge, pressure survivors, and patrol key generators. Use cooldowns of your special skills effectively.
